Superannuation (Economic Research Institute of Northern Ireland Limited) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004

The Department of Finance and Personnel in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972(1) and now vested in it(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Economic Research Institute of Northern Ireland Limited) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 8th March 2004.

Addition to list of employments

2.  There shall be added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 with effect from 23rd June 2003 employment in the Economic Research Institute of Northern Ireland Limited.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order adds employment in the Economic Research Instituteof Northern Ireland Limited to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 (“the 1972 Order”) for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It is retrospective by virtue of Article 3(7) of the 1972 Order.
