Citation, commencement and application
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Fixed Penalty) Order (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2001.
(2) This Order applies in relation to a fixed penalty offence alleged to have been committed on or after 1st March 2001.
Amount of fixed penalty
2. The fixed penalty for an offence shown in column (1) of the Schedule shall be the amount shown opposite thereto in column (2).
Revocation
3. The Road Traffic (Fixed Penalty) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997(1) is hereby revoked.
Sealed with the Official Seal of the Department of the Environment on 9th January 2001.
