Council Decision 2014/22/CFSP of 20 January 2014 amending Decision 2013/353/CFSP amending and extending the mandate of the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 28, Article 31(2) and Article 33 thereof,
Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,
Whereas:
(1) On 25 August 2011, the Council adopted Decision 2011/518/CFSP(1) appointing Mr Philippe LEFORT as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
(2) On 2 July 2013, the Council adopted Decision 2013/353/CFSP(2) extending the mandate of the EUSR until 30 June 2014 and providing a financial reference amount until 31 December 2013.
(3) A new financial reference amount covering the period from 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014 should be provided,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
