The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017(1), makes the following Order:
Citation and commencementE+W
1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) Order 2021 and shall come into force on 1st August 2021.
Competence to grant awardsE+W
[F12. Lamda Limited (registered company number 00364456) is authorised to grant taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) of the said Act for a fixed-term beginning on 1st August 2021 and expiring on 31st October 2026.]

3. Lamda Limited may authorise other institutions to grant such awards as specified in paragraph 2 of this Order on its behalf.

This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises Lamda Limited with the power to award taught awards for a fixed-term expiring on 31st October 2024. This Order will come into force on 1st August 2021.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
