Transitional provisions - admissionsE+W
39(1)Where a community or voluntary controlled school becomes a voluntary aided school anything done before the implementation date by the local authority as admission authority under any provision in Chapter 1 of Part 3 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (admission arrangements) has effect, from the implementation date, as if done by the governing body.E+W
(2)Where a foundation or voluntary aided school becomes a community or voluntary controlled school anything done before the implementation date by the governing body as admission authority under any provision in Chapter 1 of Part 3 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 has effect, from the implementation date, as if done by the local authority.
