Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn cymeradwyo tri cod ymarfer sy'n gosod safonau ar gyfer ymddygiad ac ymarfer sydd i'w dilyn parthed rheoli tai amlfeddiannaeth (“HMOs”) ac adeiladau eraill a feddiennir yn unig neu yn bennaf gan fyfyrwyr amser llawn.
Yr adeiladau eraill a grybwyllir yw'r rheiny sy'n cwympo o fewn paragraff 4 o Atodlen 14 i Ddeddf Tai 2004 (sy'n darparu ar gyfer math o adeilad a feddiennir gan fyfyrwyr nad yw yn HMO at ddibenion y Ddeddf honno). Yn achos yr adeiladau hynny, rhaid i fyfyrwyr sy'n eu meddiannu wneud hynny at y diben o ymgymryd â chyrsiau addysg amser llawn mewn sefydliadau addysgol penodedig. Mae Rheoliadau Tai Amlfeddiannaeth (Sefydliadau Addysgol Penodedig) (Cymru) ) 2006 wedi cael eu gwneud er mwyn pennu sefydliadau addysgol at ddibenion paragraff 4 o Atodlen 14.
