The Gelatine (Intra-Community Trade) (Wales) Regulations 2001

Interpretation

2.  In these Regulations—

• “the Agency” (“yr Asiantaeth”) means the Food Standards Agency(1);

• “collection centre” (“canolfan gasglu”), “tannery” (“tanerdy”) and “raw material” (“deunydd crai”) shall be construed in accordance with Commission Decision 1999/724/EC amending Annex II to Council Directive 92/118/EEC laying down animal health and public health requirements governing trade in and imports into the Community of products not subject to the said requirements laid down in specific Community rules referred to in Annex A(I) to Directive 89/662/EEC or, as regards pathogens, to Directive 90/425/EEC (2); and

• “food authority” (“awdurdod bwyd”) has the same meaning as in the Food Safety Act 1990 (3).
