The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 88C, 88E, 88F and 138(7) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998(1).
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the School Admissions (Admission Arrangements and Co-ordination of Admission Arrangements) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 28th February 2024.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
(4) These Regulations apply in relation to arrangements under which pupils are to be admitted to schools in England for the school year 2025 – 2026 and subsequent years.
(5) In these Regulations, “school year” means the period beginning with the first school term to begin after July and ending with the beginning of the first such term to begin after the following July.
2. In the table in Part 1 of Schedule 4 to the School Admissions (Admission Arrangements and Co-ordination of Admission Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2012(2) (rabbinic authorities and other representative bodies), for the entry beginning “Golders Green Beth Hamedrash” substitute the following—
“Golders Green Beth Hamedrash | Menorah Primary School for Boys | Barnet | NW11 9SP |
Menorah Primary School for Girls | Barnet | NW11 9SP”. |

These Regulations amend the School Admissions (Admission Arrangements and Co-ordination of Admission Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/8).
Regulation 2 amends Schedule 4 to those Regulations. In the table of rabbinic authorities in Part 1 of that Schedule, for the entry relating to the Golders Green Beth Hamedrash rabbinic authority, two schools - Menorah Primary School for Boys and Menorah Primary School for Girls - have been substituted for the previous entry that referred to a single school (Menorah Primary School).

A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
