Fees payable for new licences granted under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 for the period beginning with 20th August 2018 and ending with 5th April 2019

3.—(1) In addition to any fees payable under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (Fees) Order 2018(1), in respect of the period beginning with 20th August 2018 and ending with 5th April 2019, the holder of a licence issued under section 2C of the 1986 Act (licensing of undertakings)(2) which authorises the holder to carry on an undertaking involving any of the activities mentioned in section 2B(2) of the 1986 Act (prohibition of unlicensed undertakings)(3) must pay a fee which is to be determined as follows.

(2) The additional fee is to have a fixed and a variable element.

(3) The additional fixed element for such a licence which is in force for the whole or any part of that period is £631.

(4) The additional variable element is £242 for each person who during the whole or any part of that period holds a personal licence which specifies the establishment of the section 2C licence holder to which the licence relates as the place where the personal licence is primarily available.
