7. In the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002(1), in regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “enforcement authority”, for “Director General of Fair Trading” substitute “Competition and Markets Authority”.
S.I. 2002/3045; the reference to the Director General of Fair Trading in regulation 2 has effect as a reference to the Office of Fair Trading by virtue of section 2 of the Enterprise Act 2002. There is another amendment to the 2002 Regulations but it is not relevant to this Order.
