The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 54(1)(c), 56(1)(a), 1193(1)(c), 1195(1)(a) and 1292(1) of the Companies Act 2006(1) and sections 54(1)(c) and 56(1)(a) and 1292(1) of the Companies Act 2006 as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulations 8 and 81 of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2009(2).
In accordance with sections 54(3), 1193(3) and 1290 of the Companies Act 2006 and section 54(3) of that Act as applied by regulation 8 of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2009 a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
