Amendment of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987

13.  In the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987(1)—

(a) after paragraph 77(2) of Schedule 9 (sums to be disregarded in the calculation of income other than earnings) there shall be added the following paragraph—

“78.   Any payment made to a claimant’s partner in respect of the partner’s participation in the Return to Work Credit Scheme pursuant to section 2 of the Employment and Training Act 1973(3) (functions of the Secretary of State).”; and

(b) after paragraph 69(4) of Schedule 10 (capital to be disregarded) there shall be added the following paragraph—

“70.   Any payment made to a claimant’s partner in respect of the partner’s participation in the Return to Work Credit Scheme pursuant to section 2 of the Employment and Training Act 1973.”.
