32. The cost of any payment to be made under these Regulations must not be met out of any pension fund.
33. Schedule 4 shall have effect for the purpose of making transitional provisions and savings.
34. Schedule 5 shall have effect for the purpose of making amendments which are consequential on the making of these Regulations.
35. The following provisions and instruments are revoked—
The Local Government (Compensation for Redundancy) Regulations 1994(1);
The Local Government (Compensation for Redundancy) (Amendment) Regulations 1996(2);
Parts II to IV of, and Schedules 1 and 4 to, the 1996 Regulations(3);
so much of the Local Government (Discretionary Payments) (Amendment) Regulations 1998(4) as relates to Parts II to IV of the 1996 Regulations;
regulations 4 to 6 of the Local Government (Discretionary Payments) (Amendment) Regulations 1999(5);
regulations 2 and 3 of the Local Government (Discretionary Payments) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1999(6).
