Assembly constituencies and returning officers

2.  For the purposes of Part I (the Greater London Authority) of the Greater London Authority Act 1999—

(a) the Assembly constituencies shall be the areas, and shall be known by the names, specified in columns (1) and (2), respectively, in the following Table; and

(b) as regards each such constituency, the person who is for the time being the returning officer in relation to other local government elections(1) in the borough specified in relation to that constituency in column (3) of the Table shall also be the returning officer at any election in that constituency of a constituency member of the London Assembly:
