Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order applies the Extradition Act 1989 so as to make extraditable the offences described in the Nuclear Material (Offences) Act 1983 (c. 18.), attempts to commit such offences and participation in the commission of such offences. It applies to States Parties to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material, opened for signature at New York and Vienna on 3rd March 1980.
