Variation of period
2.—(1) This regulation applies to the management of sports and leisure facilities carried out at the sites listed in paragraph (3) at any time during the period beginning with the day these Regulations come into force and ending on 31st March 1998.
(2) Regulation 3 of the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Competition) (England) Regulations 1990(1) shall apply to work to which this regulation applies as if for the period of 4 years specified in that regulation there were substituted a period of 2 years.
(3) The sites referred to in paragraph (1) above are—
(a)Fulwell Cross Swimming and Recreation Centre, High Street, Barkingside;
(b)The High Road Pool, 468-470 High Road, Seven Kings, Ilford;
(c)Cricklefield Athletics Ground, High Road, Seven Kings, Ilford;
(d)Ashton Playing Field Athletics Ground, Chigwell Road, Woodford; and
(e)Hainault Forest Golf Courses and Hainault Forest Country Park, Romford Road, Chigwell.
