Revocation of regulations and transitional provisions
11.—(1) The Education (Areas to which Pupils and Students Belong) Regulations 1989(1) (in this regulation referred to as “the 1989 Regulations”) and the Education (Areas to which Pupils and Students Belong) (Amendment) Regulations 1990(2) are hereby revoked.
(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1) above the 1989 Regulations shall continue to apply in relation to any claim for payment made —
(a)before 1st April 1995, under section 51(1) of the Education (No 2) Act 1986(3) as originally enacted; or
(b)on or after 1st April 1995, under regulation 5 of the Education (Inter-authority Recoupment) Regulations 1994(4).
