Act of Sederunt (Civil Evidence (Family Mediation)) 1996

The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred on them by section 1(4)(a) of the Civil Evidence (Family Mediation) (Scotland) Act 1995(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Civil Evidence (Family Mediation)) 1996 and shall come into force on 14th February 1996.

(2) This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.

Form of certificate of approval of organisation

2.  A certificate of approval granted by the Lord President of the Court of Session under section 1 of the Civil Evidence (Family Mediation) (Scotland) Act 1995 for the purposes of subsection (2) of that section shall be in the form prescribed in the Schedule to this Act of Sederunt.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Act of Sederunt)

This Act of Sederunt provides the form of certificate of approval granted by the Lord President of the Court of Session to organisations under subsection (4) of section 1, for the purposes of subsection (2) of that section, of the Civil Evidence (Family Mediation) (Scotland) Act 1995.
