3.—(1) Regulation 4(2) of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988(1) (which prohibits the importation of certain substances and articles into the United Kingdom) shall cease to have effect insofar as it relates to the importation of those substances and articles into that country from any member State.
(2) Regulation 4(3) of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988 (which prohibits the supply of certain substances and articles) shall be modified by substituting the words “specified in paragraph (2)” for the words “the importation of which is prohibited by paragraph (2)”.
