This Order gives effect to a draft Order submitted by the magistrates' courts committee for the county of Devon and provides for–
the petty sessional divisions of Barnstaple and South Molton to be combined to form a new petty sessional division to be known as the Barnstaple and South Molton petty sessional division;
the petty sessional divisions of Axminster and Honiton to be combined to form a new petty sessional division to be known as the Axminster and Honiton petty sessional division;
the petty sessional divisions of Okehampton and Tavistock to be combined to form a new petty sessional division to be known as the West Devon petty sesional division; and
the petty sessional divisions of Kingsbridge, Plympton and Totnes to be combined to form a new petty sessional division to be known as the South Hams petty sessional division.
