Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order removes the condition imposed by the Immigration(Variation of Leave) Order 1991 (S.I.1991/77) (revoked by S.I.1991/980) which requires all Iraqi nationals who are not also either Britishcitizens or persons exercising an enforceable Community right or rightsunder any provision made under section2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c. 68) and who have a limited leave to enter or remain in the UnitedKingdom, to register with the police as a condition of that leave ifsuch a requirement is not already such a condition.
