Amendment of the Miscellaneous Additives in Food Regulations 1980 and the Bread and Flour Regulations 1984
2.—(1) The Miscellaneous Additives in Food Regulations 1980(1) shall be further amended by deleting—
(a)from Parts I and II of Schedule 1 thereto the items relating to Potassium bromate; and
(b)in Schedule 2 thereto, in respect of the items relating to “Bread” and “Flour” the references in column 2 (Permitted Miscellaneous Additive) to Potassium bromate.
(2) The Bread and Flour Regulations 1984(2) shall be further amended by deleting—
(a)from Schedule 3 thereto the item relating to 924 Potassium bromate; and
(b)from paragraph 6 of Schedule 6 thereto—
(i)in sub-paragraphs (2)(b) and (3)(b) the items relating to Potassium bromate; and
(ii)in sub-paragraph (4)(a) and (b) the references in column 2 (Permitted Miscellaneous Additive) to Potassium bromate.
