1.—(1) These regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Family Practitioner Committees: Transitional) Regulations 1984 and shall come into operation on 29th November 1984.
(2) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—
“the 1977 Act” means
“the 1984 Act” means
“corresponding district” means
where the locality falls wholly within, or is the same as, a district, that district,
in any other case, the district containing a greater part of the locality than any other district;
“district” means
“new Family Practitioner Committee” means
