An Act to facilitate the Construction and Improvement of Harbours by authorizing Loans to Harbour Authorities; to abolish Passing Tolls; and for other Purposes.

WHEREAS it is expedient that Provision: should he made for the Construction and Improvement of Harbours by authorizing . Loans from the Public Funds to Harbour Autborities,'and that Provision should also be made for the Abolition of Passing Tolls of Tolls levied on Shipping for the Purpose of Charities, of Differential Dues on Foreign Shipping, and of Compensation payable in respect thereof out of, the Public Monies and for making Arrangements for'the Preservation of the Rights of Creditors and for other Purposes :
Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent, Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows :
