3(1)Section 12 of the [1952 c. 48.] Costs in Criminal Cases Act 1952 (regulations about costs) shall be amended as follows.
(2)A reference to central funds shall be substituted for any reference to local funds in the said section 12.
(3)Regulations under the said section 12 may, as respects costs payable out of central funds under any enactment, or as respects other costs payable under the Costs in Criminal Cases Act 1952 or the [1968 c. 19.] Criminal Appeal Act 1968, provide a right of appeal from any decision on taxation, or ascertainment of the amount, of the costs, whether to a Taxing Master of the Supreme Court or to any other officer or authority.
