This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
Nothing in this Act shall affect the right of the Archbishop of Canterbury or of any other person by virtue of the [1533 c. 21.] Ecclesiastical Licences Act of 1533 to grant special licences to marry at any convenient time or place, or affect the validity of any marriage solemnised on the authority of such a licence.
