1Where this Schedule applies to any tenancy and a premium was lawfully required and paid on the grant or an assignment of the tenancy nothing in section 86 of the [1968 c. 23.] Rent Act 1968 shall prevent any person from requiring or receiving, on an assignment of the tenancy, such part of the premium or, if more than one, of the last of them as is determined in accordance with the following provisions of this Schedule as the permissible part (without prejudice, however, to his requiring or receiving a greater sum in a case where he may lawfully do so under Schedule 11 to that Act).
