The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 F1, make the following instrument:
Annotations are used to give authority for changes and other effects on the legislation you are viewing and to convey editorial information. They appear at the foot of the relevant provision or under the associated heading. Annotations are categorised by annotation type, such as F-notes for textual amendments and I-notes for commencement information (a full list can be found in the Editorial Practice Guide). Each annotation is identified by a sequential reference number. For F-notes, M-notes and X-notes, the number also appears in bold superscript at the relevant location in the text. All annotations contain links to the affecting legislation.
1. This instrument may be cited as the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 (Appointed Day No. 1) Instrument 2013.
2. 1st July 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 9(1) of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure so far as it relates to the provisions in paragraph 10 of the Schedule.

This Instrument brings into force, on 1st July 2013, provisions in the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 in respect of the issuing of a Code of Practice by the Clergy Discipline Commission pursuant to section 39 of the Clergy Discipline Measure 2003 F2.
