The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 F1, make the following instrument:

Citation and interpretationE
1. This instrument may be cited as the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 (Appointed Day No. 1) Instrument 2013.
Appointed dayE
2. 1st July 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 9(1) of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure so far as it relates to the provisions in paragraph 10 of the Schedule.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Instrument)
This Instrument brings into force, on 1st July 2013, provisions in the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Measure 2013 in respect of the issuing of a Code of Practice by the Clergy Discipline Commission pursuant to section 39 of the Clergy Discipline Measure 2003 F2.
