The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Church of England Marriage (Amendment) Measure 2012 F1 , make the following Instrument:

1. This instrument may be cited as the Church of England Marriage (Amendment) Measure 2012 (Appointed Day) Instrument 2013.
Appointed dayE
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 1 of the Church of England Marriage (Amendment) Measure 2012 is 1st June 2013.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Instrument)
This Instrument brings into force, on 1st June 2013, section 1 of the Church of England Marriage (Amendment) Measure 2012.
Section 2 and 3 of the Measure are already in force, having come into force, in accordance with section 3(2) of the Measure, on the day on which the Measure was passed.
