The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Vacancies in Suffragan Sees and Other Ecclesiastical Offices Measure 2010 F1, make the following Instrument:
Textual Amendments
1. This Instrument may be cited as the Vacancies in Suffragan Sees and Other Ecclesiastical Offices Measure 2010 (Appointed Day No. 3) Instrument 2010.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of sections 2 of the Vacancies in Suffragan Sees and Other Ecclesiastical Offices Measure 2010 is 1st January 2011.

This Instrument brings into force, on 1st January 2011, section 2 of the Vacancies in Suffragan Sees and Other Ecclesiastical Offices Measure 2010. The provisions commenced provide for the exercise by 'the relevant bishop' of the Crown's right of presentation to an ecclesiastical office which is vacant during a vacancy in a diocesan see and to which the right of presentataion would, but for the vacancy in see, have been exercisable by the diocesan bishop.
