Churchwardens Measure 2001 (Appointed Day Instrument 2001)
Whereas the Churchwardens Measure 2001 received the Royal Assent on the Tenth day of April 2001
And whereas section 14(2) of the said Measure provides that the said Measure shall come into force on such day as the Archbishops of Canterbury and York may jointly appoint
Now therefore we GEORGE LEONARD by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury and DAVID MICHAEL by Divine Providence Archbishop of York do hereby jointly appoint that the said Measure shall come into force on the First day of January 2002
