1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Assistance (Assessment of Resources) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 6th April 2015.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the National Assistance (Assessment of Resources) Regulations 1992(1).
(3) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
2. In regulation 20 of the principal Regulations (capital limit)(2) for “£26,000” substitute “£26,250”.
3. In regulation 28(1) of the principal Regulations (calculation of tariff income from capital)(3)—
(a)for “£16,000” (in each place it appears) substitute “£16,250”; and
(b)for “£26,000” substitute “£26,250”.
4. In paragraph 28G of Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations (disregard of savings credit)(4)—
(a)in sub-paragraphs (1) and (2), for “£5.95” (in each place it appears) substitute “£6.00”; and
(b)in sub-paragraphs (3) and (4), for “£8.95” (in each place it appears) substitute “£9.00”.
5. The National Assistance (Assessment of Resources) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2014(5) are revoked.
