The Scottish Ministers, make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 61(a) of the Food (Scotland) Act 2015(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Food (Scotland) Act 2015 (Consequential Provisions) (No. 2) Order 2015.
(2) This Order comes into force on 5th February 2016.
2. In regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the General Food Regulations 2004(2), in the definition of “the Agency”, substitute “Food Standards Scotland” for “the Food Standards Agency”.

This Order makes provision consequential on the Food (Scotland) Act 2015 that Food Standards Scotland is the competent authority for the purposes of certain provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 (OJ No. L 31, 1.2.2002, p.1) relating to Scotland.
S.I. 2004/3279 as amended by S.S.I. 2005/616 and S.S.I. 2013/333 in relation to Scotland.
