2. In this Order–
“the 1976 Act” means the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976(1);
“the 1990 Act” means the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990(2);
“the 2005 Act” means the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005;
“Board” means a Licensing Board continued in existence by or established under section 5 of the 2005 Act;
“occasional licence” means a licence granted under section 33 of the 1976 Act(3);
“relevant permission” means–
a licence granted under Part II or III of the 1976 Act (other than a licence provisionally granted under section 26 or an occasional licence); or
a certificate of registration under Part VII of that Act;
“the transitional period” means the period from 12:01 a.m. on 1st February 2008 until 5:00 a.m. on 1st September 2009.
