PART 18SUPPLEMENTARY
Directions
165. Where any provision of these Rules provides that the Scottish Ministers may give a direction, unless the contrary intention appears, the Scottish Ministers may make provision in the direction–
(a)in relation to all cases in respect of which the direction may be given, or in relation to all those cases subject to specified exceptions, or in relation to any specified case or classes of case;
(b)as respects the cases in relation to which it is given, that the direction applies either unconditionally, or subject to any specified condition; or
(c)which is incidental or supplementary to the purpose in respect of which the direction may be given.
Revocations
166. Subject to rule 167, the rules and the Order specified in Schedule 4 are hereby revoked.
Savings and transitional provisions
167. Notwithstanding rule 166, the savings and transitional provisions specified in Schedule 5 shall have effect.
