Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Electronic Fingerprinting etc. Device Approval (Scotland) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 14th February 2005.
Device Approved
2. For the purpose of creating such records as are mentioned in paragraph (d) of section 18(7A) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 (record of a person’s skin on an external part of the body), the device known as the Smiths Heimann Biometric Device LS1 LITE U CE is hereby approved.
