The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) Order 2004, and shall come into force on 24th January 2005.
2.—(1) The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions in paragraph (2).
(2) In schedule 3(2), insert at the appropriate place–
(i)“Risk Management Authority”;
(ii)“Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care”; and
(iii)“Scottish Social Services Council”.

This Order modifies Schedule 3 to the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, which lists those bodies that are a “devolved public body” for the purpose of that Act.
Article 2 of this Order adds the Risk Management Authority, the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and the Scottish Social Services Council to that list.
Schedule 3 was amended by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 10), schedule 10, paragraph 29, the Water Industry (Scotland) Act 2002 (asp 3), schedule 7, paragraph 28, S.S.I. 2002/201, the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (asp 4), schedule 4, paragraph 15, S.S.I. 2003/1, 119 and 279.
