2.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), these Regulations apply in the Northern Ireland zone.
(2) These Regulations do not apply to fishing vessels within the meaning of Article 3(c) of Council Regulation (EC) No 2371/2002 on the conservation and sustainable exploitation of fisheries resources under the Common Fisheries Policy (1) which are registered in another member State.

O.J. No. L 358, 31.12.2002, p.59, as last amended by Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 (O.J. No L 343, 22.12.2009, p.1). Article 10 permits measures, applying to fishing vessels flying a member State’s own flag, for the conservation and management of stocks, subject to certain conditions.
