1. These Regulations may be cited as the Police Service of Northern Ireland and Police Service of Northern Ireland Reserve (Full-Time) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 24th March 2011.
2.—(1) The Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve (Full-Time) (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Regulations 1996(1) shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In regulation 2(1) in the definition of “public holiday” insert “29th April 2011,” after “St Patrick’s Day,”.
3.—(1) The Police Service of Northern Ireland Regulations 2005(2) shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In regulation 3(1) in paragraph (a) of the definition of “public holiday” insert “29th April 2011,” after “St Patrick’s Day,”.
4.—(1) The Police Service of Northern and Police Service of Northern Ireland Reserve (Injury Benefit) Regulations 2006(3) shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In Schedule 1 in paragraph (a) of the definition of “public holiday” insert “29th April 2011,” after “St Patrick’s Day,”.
