The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is designated(1) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2) as regards measures relating to the operation of the Structural Funds and matters relating to the promotion of rural development.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
