1. These Regulations may be cited as the Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 7th May 2001.
2. The Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997(4) are hereby revoked.

These Regulations revoke the Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 which provided that all berried or sexually mature female lobsters marked with a V notch or mutilated to hide or obliterate a V notch are returned to the sea.
