The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 116(1) of the Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978(1), after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:–
1. This Order may be cited as the Judgment Enforcement Fees (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st December 1998.
2. In Part I of the Schedule to the Judgment Enforcement Fees Order (Northern Ireland) 1996(2) for the amount of–
(i)£15.00, payable in respect of Fee No. 1, there shall be substituted the amount of £20.00;
(ii)£120.00, payable in respect of Fee No. 3, there shall be substituted the amount of £125.00;
(iii)£500.00, payable in respect of Fee No. 4, there shall be substituted the amount of £515.00; and
(iv)£5.00, payable in respect of Fee No. 9, there shall be substituted the amount of £6.00.

This Order amends Part I of the Schedule to the Judgment Enforcement Fees Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 so as to increase a number of the fees to be taken in respect of the enforcement of judgments under the Judgments Enforcement (Northern Ireland) Order 1981.
