Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Trunk Roads (Designation of Routes) Order (Northern Ireland) 1998 and shall come into operation on 23rd October 1998.

Designation of routes

2.  The existing roads described in the Schedule shall become trunk roads.

Revocations

3.  The Belfast — Ballygawley — Londonderry Trunk Road (Portadown — Birches) Order (Northern Ireland) 1968(1) and The Portadown — Birches Trunk Road (Market Street to Obins Street, Portadown) Order (Northern Ireland) 1972(2) are hereby revoked.
