Commencement

2.—(1) Section 5 of the 1986 Act (loans in respect of service charges) shall come into force on 13th July 1992.

(2) In so far as it is not already in force, and subject to the transitional provisions in the Schedule to this Order, section 24(2) of the 1986 Act (consequential amendments) shall come into force on 17th August 1992 in so far as it relates to—

  • paragraphs 18 to 20,

  • paragraph 27 in so far as it relates to the definitions of “consent ” and “management agreement and manager ”,

  • paragraphs 29, 31, 34 to 38, and 40 of Schedule 5.
