1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Forestry (2010 Act) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Forestry Act (Northern Ireland) 2010.
2. 13th September 2010 is the day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Act listed in the Schedule.

This Order provides for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Forestry Act (Northern Ireland) 2010 listed in the Schedule to this Order, on 13th September 2010.

Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Rule and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications. They aim to make the Statutory Rule accessible to readers who are not legally qualified and accompany any Northern Ireland Statutory Rule or Draft Northern Ireland Statutory Rule laid before the UK Parliament during the suspension of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
