Schedule 5—Minor and consequential modifications

229.Schedule 5 makes a number of minor amendments and repeals and amendments and repeals consequential on the provisions of the Act to the Solicitors (Scotland) Act 1980, the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 and the Law Reform (Miscellanaous Provisions) Act 1990 and some other Acts. These are mainly concerned with the adjustment of statutory references, and the removal of unnecessary references, as a result of the introduction of the new arrangements for the handling of complaints against lawyers.
