An Act to confirm and give effect to an agreement relating to the Agricultural Research Station for Northern Ireland.
[22nd December 1931]
WHEREAS an agreement dated the second day of December, nineteen hundred and thirty, was made between the Ministry of Finance of the first part, the Ministry of Agriculture of the second part and the Agricultural Research Institute of Northern Ireland (in this Act referred to as “the Institute”) of the third part, supplemental to an indenture (in this Act referred to as “the principal indenture”) dated the twenty-eighth day of October, nineteen hundred and twenty-six, and made between the Ministry of Finance of the first part, the Ministry of Agriculture of the second part and James Scott Gordon, James Pimlott, Josias Cunningham, George Scott Robertson, Robert Rae, William Robert Morrow, Alexander John McDonnell Pilkington, John Martin Mark and Harold Adrian Milne Barbour of the third part, which said agreement is set forth in the Schedule to this Act, and is in this Act referred to as “the scheduled agreement” :
And whereas by the scheduled agreement it was agreed that the principal indenture should be varied so as to permit the Institute to use and occupy another part of the lands referred to in the scheduled agreement as “the Great Park” in place of part of the lands which the Institute was permitted to use and occupy under the principal indenture:
And whereas the provisions of the scheduled agreement cannot take effect without the authority of Parliament:
