PENNOD 1

Darparu gwasanaethau offthalmig sylfaenol

8.—(1) Caiff ymarferydd cymwysedig (ac eithrio myfyriwr optometreg) ddarparu gwasanaethau offthalmig sylfaenol yn ardal Bwrdd Iechyd Lleol os yw wedi ei gynnwys yn rhestr offthalmig y Bwrdd Iechyd Lleol hwnnw (gweler rheoliad 10(2)(a)).

(2) Caiff ymarferydd cymwysedig (ac eithrio myfyriwr optometreg) gynorthwyo i ddarparu gwasanaethau offthalmig sylfaenol yng Nghymru os yw wedi ei gynnwys yn rhestr offthalmig neu yn rhestr atodol Bwrdd Iechyd Lleol (gweler rheoliad 10(2)(a) a (b)).

(3) Caiff myfyriwr optometreg gynorthwyo i ddarparu gwasanaethau offthalmig sylfaenol yng Nghymru i’r graddau y mae wedi ei gymhwyso i wneud hynny ac o dan oruchwyliaeth ymarferydd meddygol offthalmig neu optometrydd y mae ei enw wedi ei gynnwys mewn rhestr gyfunol, os yw’r myfyriwr optometreg wedi ei gynnwys yn rhestr atodol Bwrdd Iechyd Lleol (gweler rheoliad 10(2)(b)).

Cymwysterau ymarferwyr meddygol offthalmig

9.—(1) Y cymwysterau rhagnodedig y mae rhaid i ymarferydd meddygol feddu arnynt at ddibenion adran 71 o’r Ddeddf (trefniadau ar gyfer gwasanaethau offthalmig cyffredinol) yw’r rhai a nodir ym mharagraff 1 o Atodlen 2.

(2) Mae paragraff 2 o Atodlen 2 yn gwneud darpariaeth mewn perthynas â chymeradwyo cymwysterau ymarferwyr meddygol offthalmig gan y Pwyllgor Cymwysterau Offthalmig.

(3) Mae paragraff 3 o Atodlen 2 yn gwneud darpariaeth mewn perthynas ag apelau yn erbyn penderfyniadau gan y Pwyllgor Cymwysterau Offthalmig.
