Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn, sydd wedi ei wneud gan Weinidogion Cymru, yn dwyn i rym ddarpariaethau penodedig o Ddeddf Lefelau Staff Nyrsio (Cymru) 2016 (“y Ddeddf”).
Mae erthygl 2 yn dwyn i rym adran 1(2) a (3) o’r Ddeddf ar 21 Ionawr 2021. Mae adran 1(2) yn darparu bod rheoliadau sy’n cael eu gwneud o dan adran 25B(3)(c) o Ddeddf y Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol (Cymru) 2006 (“Deddf 2006”) yn cael eu gwneud drwy ddefnyddio’r weithdrefn gadarnhaol. Mae adran 1(3) yn mewnosod cofnod ar gyfer “nurse staffing level” yn y tabl yn adran 207 o Ddeddf 2006 (mynegai o ymadroddion wedi eu diffinio).
