Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn, sy'n gymwys i Gymru, yn gymwys os yw Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru wedi'i awdurdodi o dan ddarpariaethau penodedig neu yn rhinwedd y darpariaethau hynny i adennill ei gostau mewn cysylltiad â chynnal ymchwiliad o dan rai deddfiadau, sef:
(a)Deddf Llywodraeth Leol 1972;
(b)Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig 1984; ac
(c)Deddf Traenio Tir 1991.
Maent yn pennu swm safonol y gellir ei godi am bob diwrnod y mae'r ymchwiliad yn eistedd neu y mae'r person sydd wedi'i benodi i'w gynnal wrthi'n gwneud gwaith arall mewn cysylltiad ag ef. £566 yw'r swm os yw'r ymchwiliad yn agor ar y diwrnod y mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn dod i rym (29 Tachwedd 2002) neu ar ôl hynny ond cyn 1 Ebrill 2003 a £645 os yw'r ymchwiliad yn agor ar 1 Ebrill 2003 neu ar ôl hynny.
